With the large incoming freshman class at Valley City State University this year, one of the key issues that has become an issue for students and faculty is the lack of parking spaces. Although the spaces near McCoy and Robertson are usually pretty full, there is no room for members of Kolstoe to park. What do you think could/should be done?
I have always thought that the parking on campus has been garbage. You get to buy a pass and you can't even get in a decent lot half of the time. You end up having to park on the street so there are cars lined up on both sides of the street on campus. That is safe for roads that are know for getting icy. But, at least now I have an apartment and I have my own spot.
ReplyDeleteThe parking on campus has always been wretched. Buying a parking pass almost isn’t worth it as one can hardly ever find a spot. The campus needs to get rid of some green and pave a new lot or add to existing lots. Students may rebel otherwise!
